ALENTEJO – MIGUEL LOURO

Miguel Louro is a new upcoming winemaker and the owner of a five-hectare vineyard planted in 2010, at 400 meters altitude on schist soils, in Estremoz, Alentejo.

 Estremoz is an area known for the hot summer days and cool nights. These climatic conditions allows for the wines to have balanced  freshness and acidity.

Miguel works exclusively with local grapes. He maintains acidity by picking grapes earlier for elegance and by keeping the alcohol levels low and acidity high.  In the glass these wines offer perfume, power, and elegance.
