ALENTEJO – ADEGA VIDIGUEIRA
Adega Cooperative de Vidigueira’s history is intertwined with Vasco da Gama – the first Count of Vidigueira, to whom in 1519 the Duke of Braganza awarded the town of Vidigueira.
Adega Vidigueira’s grapes are supplied by 250 small estate growers from the sub regions of Vidigueira, Cuba and Alvito in Alentejo.
The red wines from the estate are intense with darker cherry color, expressive aromas with notes of black fruit, spice, balanced and integrated oak. Energetic and vigorous with balanced acidity and flavors of black fruit.
The white wines have aroma of dried orange peel and lavender edged sweetness of the stone fruits.
These wines provide an extra level of sophistication and elegance with structure and freshness.
