Producer Notes: Sustainably farmed in the Douro Superior, the hottest part of the Douro, from the 25 year old vines. Hand picked, grapes were foot trodden in the granite lagares, fermented for 10 days and aged 6 months in used French oak. Tasting Notes: “An elegant wine with notes of red fruit and a touch of oak. Structured palate, with a long finish. It can be consumed immediately or in the next 10 years.”
