Producer Notes: Grapes 100% whole cluster were foot trodden in square stone lagar, press is done without prior maceration. Total maceration was 10 days and aged in used French oak barrels for 18 months. The malolactic fermentation took place in oak barrels. All grapes are from vineyards aged over 70 years from a single vineyard in Alijó planted in blue schist soil at 580m altitude.

Tasting Notes:  “A strong contender for the best vintage, this tightly wound Indie is powerful, precise and long on the finish. The fruit is under those tannins, though, and it has fine flavors waiting to come out. It should age very well, continuing to open and develop.”
