Producer Notes:  From the highest subregion near the Serra da Estrela Mountain, in the parish of Vila Nova de Tazém, 35 year old vines  planted in granite soil. This vineyard has a blend of encruzado, bical and sercial. The wine is vinified and aged for 1 year in 500 liters used  oak barrels. Prior to bottling the wine aged 6 months in stainless steel vats.
