DAO –CAMINHOS CRUZADOS

The vineyards and winery are located in Nelas, Dão the Beira Alta region. The vineyards are protected from the winds by the mountains of Caramulo, Montemuro, Buçaco and Estrela, providing excellent geographical conditions for wine production.

The vines are planted between the altitude of 400 to 700 meters in the granite soils. THis enables the production of the full-bodied wines with potential for aging. The grapes varieties planted are Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, Jaen and Tinta Roriz (red varieties) and Encruzado, Bical, Cercial, Malvasia Fina and Verdelho (white varieties).

The Titular collection is a range of elegant, structured, and complex wines, with great potential for evolution in the bottle.
